Successfully launched Electro™ Grapefruit as a limited-edition addition to Amare Global's hydration product line.

The opportunity

Introducing a limited-edition Grapefruit flavor created an opportunity to bring something new to the lineup, generate excitement, and give existing customers another reason to engage with the product.

In a competitive hydration category, keeping an established product line fresh requires finding new ways to engage consumers while staying true to what makes the product successful.

Electro™ was already part of Amare Global's wellness portfolio, with a clear position around hydration and electrolyte support.

The challenge was developing a flavor concept and launch campaign that felt fresh and distinctive while maintaining the recognizable identity of the Electro™ product line.

My role

My Role

As Global Director of Product Marketing at Amare Global, I was involved in bringing Electro™ Grapefruit from concept to market, contributing to flavor concept development, product positioning, launch strategy, and integrated marketing execution.

My responsibilities included developing consumer-facing messaging, supporting packaging development, guiding campaign creative and product photography, and creating sales enablement resources for the launch.

I worked across teams to ensure the flavor concept, packaging, marketing campaign, and product education came together as one cohesive launch.

01
Existing product line

Find New Opportunities Within an Existing Product Line

Not every product innovation requires developing something entirely new. Sometimes the opportunity is finding ways to make an established product feel exciting again.

With Electro™ Grapefruit, the strategy was to introduce a new flavor experience that complemented the existing lineup while offering something different.

I contributed to the flavor concept and positioning, helping shape how Grapefruit would fit within the broader Electro™ portfolio and what would make it appealing to consumers.

The limited-edition approach also gave us an opportunity to create a focused launch moment around the new offering.

02
Flavor and function

Connect Flavor Appeal With Functional Benefits

While Grapefruit brought a new sensory experience to the lineup, it was important that the marketing continued to reinforce what consumers already knew Electro™ for: hydration and electrolyte support.

The positioning needed to strike the right balance between flavor appeal and product functionality.

I helped develop messaging that highlighted the refreshing citrus experience while staying connected to Electro's established benefits.

The goal was to make the new flavor feel distinctive without losing the consistency and credibility of the broader product line.

03
Creative

Bring the Flavor to Life Through Creative

One of the most enjoyable parts of this project was developing the creative approach for the launch.

Grapefruit offered a natural opportunity to work with bright citrus colors, refreshing visuals, and lifestyle-driven imagery that captured the flavor's personality.

I contributed to packaging development, campaign creative, and photoshoot direction, helping translate the product positioning into a visual experience that felt fresh, engaging, and consistent with the Electro™ identity.

From product photography to promotional assets, the creative was designed to make Grapefruit stand out while remaining recognizable as part of the established lineup.

04
Limited-edition launch

Execute a Coordinated Limited-Edition Launch

With a limited-edition product, the launch window is an important part of the marketing strategy.

I supported go-to-market planning and campaign execution, helping coordinate the messaging, creative assets, launch communications, and sales materials needed to introduce Electro™ Grapefruit.

This included ensuring the campaign communicated the new flavor clearly while reinforcing the product's core positioning.

The focus was on creating a cohesive introduction across consumer-facing marketing and sales channels.

05
Field enablement

Equip the Field for a Successful Introduction

An important part of bringing a new product to market is making sure the sales organization understands what makes it different and how to communicate its value.

I contributed to product education and sales enablement resources that helped independent Brand Partners understand the Grapefruit offering and confidently introduce it to customers.

By connecting the product story with practical sales messaging, we helped ensure the launch was supported by consistent communication across marketing and field teams.

The outcome

Electro™ Grapefruit was introduced as a limited-edition addition to Amare Global's hydration portfolio, bringing a new flavor experience to an established product line.

The launch brought together product concept development, positioning, packaging, creative direction, integrated marketing, and sales enablement.

It's also a reminder that successful product marketing isn't always about introducing an entirely new product. Sometimes it's about finding fresh ways to build on what already works.

For me, Electro™ Grapefruit is a great example of how even a relatively focused product innovation can create opportunities for creative storytelling and consumer engagement.
